What a lazy baby!

My knitting achievements are growing and growing! I asked our other old Teddybear to put it all on, and he meddled around with it, then saying, There is no cap, so he wrapped the scarf around his head.
Of course I immediately started knitting a blue cap, too.
But if the baby STILL does not come, I will run out of patterns. With my limited abilities I was proud enough to have come this far! But I want to LOOK at you, baby boy, and see how big you are and how broad your shoulders (haha), so I can make you a winter jacket.
But he sits still and put and does not come out!
I told my daughter of the old trick of swallowing a spoonful of castor oil, but she shuddered and refused.
Does anyone of you know how to lure a happy and comfortable baby out of its nice place into the big, noisy, overwhelming world of ours?
All suggestions will be appreciated!

Dear Geli, I am so excited as you are! and anxious, too!!
People say that the second baby comes earlier than the expected time but I really don´t know what to do with the first one.
Maybe it´s mother nature telling to your daughter to get some rest ( some bonus days !)
Warm wishes from your Brazilian friend!

Well at least Marina can make the most of the rest time; perhaps you can put sleep in the bank afterall? We are all standing by and thinking of you x

My mother was given castor oil AND a motorcycle ride AND a ride in the front of a bull dozer & still my brother was a month late. But this was 45 years ago & they might not have calculated the date very well.

oh geli, that waiting...waiting. I thought i would wait forever with my son! he just wanted to stay in that warmth a little longer i think..

what worked for my sister was middle eastern food. for me, chinese food!

never heard of the castor oil but those old wives' tales have truth in many of them.

happy waiting dear grandmama and i will be waiting too to hear of the arrival - very soon i am sure! - of your precious little guy~

Mina, I am so envious of your little sunshine-Baby-Boy!Like Lori, I`d like to hug him! One day maybe the two boys can get together and play, wouldn`t that be wonderful?

Val, oh, what a good idea! To put a "sleep-account" on the bank, and take away from it when you need it! I`m sure with that business idea for young moms you`d get really rich!! Thank you for your support. It does help ME at least.

Dana, haha, that poor boy, a month earlier than his due date, and then being given such a treatment! I hope he has turned out okay?

Amanda, thank you also for your support! Chinese food, huh? Well, she is having another hospital date this morning, but if she is being sent home again, I`ll tell her what to have for dinner!

Lori, you Good Fairy, it was you who got me started knitting, and it sure soothes me. Thank you for all your help!!

Janet, I will run and look at your pictures. Any distraction is great! And I always love your pictures!

Miranda dear, thank you, yes! A new cousin. Soon they can form a team! Tammy said that hers was nine days late! So, sigh, we`ll patiently wait, too.
But one day they`ve all GOT to meet!

Good luck with the waiting! Must be very frustrating, but at least there's plenty of knitting going on!
